Daphne Lee and her husband Jamie Sneed (Rolfe) from Minnesota (USA) are JUDiTH + ROLFE are designers who create custom stunning pictures from paper. They currently reside in St. Paul, Minnesota. Judith is an artist, and Rolf is a behind-the-scenes problem-solving and logistics specialist. Both of them worked for 10 years as architects in New York, and then decided to take up quilling. Geometry, nature and typography are constant themes in the work.
Using colors, volumes, light and shadow, Judith literally draws stunning three-dimensional compositions with paper. This is mainly flowers. Each flower has its own veins, shape, color, accurately transmitting live flowers.
Judith is often asked what tools she used, so she posted a photo.
Quilling has its roots in the middle ages. Basically, flowers in this technique decorated churches and cathedrals. Judith took this technique as a basis and added her vision of the world of colors and geometric compositions.
Her panels are in great demand, shown at exhibitions in Europe and America. Many flower shops order from them the design of showcases with three-dimensional flowers.
Also they can see a selection of geometric paintings:
Judith created a series of windows that she worked on for a very long time.
Her latest work. The theme of the city and attractions:
In this work the Eiffel Tower is in progress:
